Water Levels in the Southern High Plains Page 3 <br />Designated Ground Water Basin - 1997 <br />Dakota/Cheyenne Aquifer <br />Water level changes in the Dakota -Cheyenne aquifer range from a +3.80 foot rise north of <br />Walsh to a -0.75 foot decline northeast of Two Buttes. The average water level change of <br />Dakota/Cheyenne aquifer wells measured was +0.89 feet of rise as compared to -0.90 feet <br />decline in 1996. <br />4698R.CR <br />
