WATER LEVELS IN THE LOWER SOUTH PLATTE NETWORK <br />Explanation <br />All of the monitoring wells in this report are completed in unconsolidated gravel, sand silt, and <br />clay of predominately alluvial origin. The following subdivision is based upon location of the <br />wells with respect to modern stream channels, floodplains, terraces, and interstream divides. <br />Qal - Recent stream alluvium and floodplain deposits. <br />Qoav - Alluvium of areas not within a distinct floodplain; upland areas and areas along <br />interstream divides; includes deposits of eolian origin. <br />Qt - Alluvium underlying terraces identified and mapped by other investigators. <br />4132R.jcr <br />
