WATER LEVELS lN THE DENVER BASiN <br />BEDROCK AQUIFERS <br />zoos <br />This report contains basic data concerning the depth to ground water and eleva�ion <br />of the occurrence of ground water in the four bedrock aquifers of the Denver Basin <br />during the spring of 2006. Data was obtained for a total of 1 fi8 wells in 2006. The <br />report contains data �rom these wells as well as other wells which are part of this <br />monitoring effort, but for which data were not obtained in 2�06. Historic data for all <br />wells which are part of this monitoring effort are incfuded in the report. <br />Most �f the water level measurements in this year's report were obtained by Da�e <br />Dzurovchin, Michael Schaubs and E�izabeth Pottorff. Personnel from �arious water <br />districts and municipalities also pro�ided water level data for #his report, including <br />some data which were lacking from previous years. The Di�ision of Water <br />Resources requested water level information from some districts and municipalities <br />that did not respond. The Di�ision of Water Resources will continue to request this <br />information on an annual basis, and appreciates the cooperation of the many <br />entities that do provide water level information. <br />Included in this report is a summary of the Denver Basin geology with generalized <br />aquifer maps and cross sections. The summary will also be included in future <br />reports. <br />Copies of this report are made available to well owners and participating entities <br />free of charge.
