This report contains the basic ground water level data collec#ed in the Camp Creek
Designated Ground Water Basin during the period from April 1993 through
February 20fi. Pre-1993 water ieel information has also been included where
available. The pre-1993 data is generally taken from well completion reports or
pump installation reports submitted by drilfing or pump instaliation contractors at
the time the well was constructed vr a permanent pump installed.
Acquisition and publication of this inormation is a cooperatie effort between the
Colorado Ground Water Commission and the Colorado Diision of V1Jater
Resources. The project is part of a statewide ground water leel-monitoring
program funded by Senate Bill 200 (198? legislatie session}. This egisfation
directed that a portion of the fees collected or water well permit applications be
used for the establishment of a program to monitor water ieel trends thrughoui
the state.
Water feel data and hydrographs fom 10 wells Iocated in the Camp Creek
Designated Ground Water Basin in Washington County a-e presented in this
report. Vllater level measuremen#s in these wells were made on February 28,
2fi. All vf the Camp Creek wells monitored are Iocated in Townships 2 and 3
North, Range 54 West of #he fi"' P.M. A map is included with this report showing
the locations of the wells.
Fo the 205-06 period, water levels increased in three wells and declined in seven
wells. n average, water fevels declined by 4.68 feet. The change in water leels
ranged from an incrase of .67 feet in Camp Creek-2 to a maximum decline of -
4.48 feet in Camp Creek-4. At Camp Creek-4 there was evidence that this well
had been pumped immediately prior to being measured on February 28, 200fi. For
all ten wells, the average annual decline for the prior fie years is —O.fi2 feet per
year and for the preious ten years is —.?4 feet per year. .
Copies of the report can be purchased from the ffice of the Sta#e Engineer,
Records Section, 1313 Sherman St., Room 821, Dener, C 8203, (33) 86fi-
3447.
