WATER LEVELS IN THE DENVER BASIN <br />BEDROCK AQUIFERS <br />1997 <br />This report contains basic data concerning the depth to ground water in the four bedrock aquifers of the <br />Denver Basin during the spring and early summer of 1997. The report also contains data from previous <br />years in which the wells were measured. Changes for the last years (1996 to 1997) and for a five year <br />period from 1992 to 1997 are also included along with representative hydrographs. The measurements <br />were made primarily by Mr. Howard C. (Buck) Bainbridge or by personnel of various water districts. <br />A number of districts which have reported data to the Division in previous years did not report water <br />level data this year. An attempt will be made next year to obtain these data. <br />Included in this report is a summary of the Denver Basin geology with generalized aquifer maps and cross <br />sections. This summary will be included in all future reports. <br />
