A site visit with you was conducted on June <br />2008 to review your proposed minerals action. Your Uravan-Beck mining notice is hereby <br />accepted and you may begin operations provided the following conditions are complied with: <br />o Your operations are to avoid cultural site numbers 5MN 8446 and,5MN 8445 as <br />delineated in the cultural survey report completed by Grand River Institute. In addition, if <br />subsurface cultural or paleontological resources are unearthed during operations, activity <br />in the vicinity of the cultural/paleontological resource will cease and a BLM <br />representative will be notified immediately. Pursuant to 43 CFR 10.4, the holder of this <br />authorization must notify the Authorized Officer, by telephone, with written confirmation, <br />immediately upon the discovery of human remains, funerary items, sacred objects, or <br />objects of cultural patrimony. Further, the operator must stop activities in the vicinity of <br />the discovery and protect it for 30 days or until notified to proceed by the Authorized <br />Officer. <br />o Approval is given for up to 200 individual proposed drill site locations covering the ten <br />separately identified areas. If other locations in this area are proposed at a later date for <br />drilling or exploration, the mining notice must be modified and field checked by BLM <br />prior to conducting activities. <br />o Only pre-existing roads and old drill sites will be used, no new access will be constructed. <br />Any road upgrading or localized maintenance will be contained within the existing road <br />bed width.
