MANAGEMENT
wovft
RECEIVED
SEP 0 6 2013
MINING AND RECLAMATI
On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, enclosed is an application for a minor revision to delineate
where gob will be placed at gob pile #3.
Construction of the coal mine waste pile will be a phased project with placement of gob
starting on the western edge of the pile, and progressing eastward. The majority of the gob
footprint has been cleared of all organic material and topsoil
Until the underdrain as submitted under Technical Revision No. 81 is approved, Bowie will be
limited to placement of gob in the western most pit bounded by ditches J -8 -1 & 2 and a haul
road. While gob is being placed in the west pit, Bowie will continue coverfill salvaging efforts,
with coverfill to be placed either in stockpile, for use at gob pile #2, or used for
contemporaneous reclamation efforts at gob pile #3. There is an area where topsoil still needs
to be salvaged and is shown on the attached figure.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
Sincerely,
v
Tamme Bishop, P.E.
Project Engineer
Cc: Bill Bear
