Hickenlooper
Governor
Mike King
Executive Director
Loretta E. Pineda
Director
The Division has completed a preliminary adequacy review of the minor revision application (MR -137)
submitted by Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL) for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. The revision proposes retention of
portions of the Plantation Road at the request of the Forest Service. We have the following comments
regarding the application.
1. Revised page 2.05 -65 indicates that the USDA -FS wants any portions of the Plantation Road to
be decommissioned as an ATV trail. Please clarify which portions of the road will be
decommissioned and which, if any, portions will be fully reclaimed.
2. Please update Map 13 to indicate the portions of the Plantation Road that will be retained.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
2U
Susan L.
