On
behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL) following are its responses to the DRMS' comments and
concerns.
DRMS notes B04 was destroyed by hillside construction work. BRL does not intend to
replace the borehole. B04 and B05 are located below the crushing and screening level
fill and were installed to detect possible seepage in the original grade material and for the
collection of subsurface data. See Volume 6, Phase II Geotechnical Studies. B04 is
not needed to determine whether there are adverse impacts to the hydrologic balance
since it is not a water quality monitoring well.
2. DRMS notes that no laboratory analysis were reported for Ponds 10 -4, 85, 87 and 88.
BRL located a laboratory analysis for pond 10 -4. There was an error in data entry for
pond 88. The freeboard value of 3.14 feet was erroneously entered as the flow. There
was no flow for Pond 88 during the year so there were no required laboratory analysis.
Revised report pages for Pond 10 -4 and Pond 88 are enclosed
Laboratory analysis are missing for Ponds 85 and 87. A review of the historic data
indicates a water sample is typically collected for these wells during the second quarter.
Unfortunately, because of the ongoing drought conditions, there was no flow from these
ponds after the first quarter so no water was available for laboratory analysis.
Sincerely,
/1'4V16L-----
J.
