PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF PROPOSED
DECISION
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mwng and
Safety has accepted the applicant's request to Withdraw
Permit Revision Application No. 7 (PR -07) The apphca-
tion was submitted by Western Fuels- Colorado, LLC for
a coal mining permit at the New Horizon Mme (Permit
No. C- 1981-008). With this application, the operator had
proposed to revise the acreage of prime farmlands identi-
fied within the permit area.
The New Horizon Mme is a Surface operation located in
Montrose County, approximately 1.7 miles Northwest of
Nucla, Colorado. Coal interest is Private, and the surface
affected is Private land. The permit area encompasses
approximately 926.06 acres.
