There has been no new sloping or planting <br />during the past year. Backfill in Extraction Area A with overburden from Areas A and B is <br />ongoing. Extraction of the remaining raw material in Area B and subsequent sloping is not likely <br />in the upcoming year. As well all subsequent extraction areas will remain unaffected. <br />Weed control continues from April thru August in Extraction Areas A and B. Weed <br />control is done by the leasee and an independent contractor. Primarily 2 -4 -D and curtail are used <br />to control mostly Kosha weeds and some Russian Knapweed. <br />Attached is a map of the pit showing the extraction areas, sloping and stockpile locations. <br />By <br />Mark Gardner, anager <br />
