Pineda <br />Director <br />Re: Keenesburg Strip Mine (Permit No. C- 1981 -028) <br />Technical Revision No. 44 (TR -44) <br />Revise Subsurface Water Monitoring Analysis from Quarterly to Semi - annually <br />Dear Mr. Moline: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received Coors Energy Company's <br />(CEC) application for TR -44 for the Keenesburg Mine on February 13, 2013. TR -44 was <br />deemed complete on March 1, 2013. CEC is proposing to revise the Subsurface Water <br />Monitoring Analysis schedule from quarterly to semi - annually. The Division has finished its <br />review and has the following comments: <br />1. Please specify in the permit document the timeframe for conducting the sampling and <br />analysis (e.g., spring & fall). <br />2.
