Dear Mr. Waldron,
Lafarge requests a Technical Revision (TR) to Permit No. M- 1991 -035, the Bluestone Pit. The
end use reclamation shall remain the same (natural vegetation). The intent of this TR is merely to
reconfigure the final site layout to facilitate initial steps necessary to prepare the land for future,
post reclamation inclusion in the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge. Lafarge has drafted the
enclosed Reclamation Plan revision in close coordination with the US Department of Energy -
Office of Legacy Management, The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, The Colorado Department of
Public Health and Environment and the National Renewable Energy Lab — Energy Efficiency
and Renewable Energy. All support the proposed revisions.
Enclosed please find the Technical revision Application Fee and the Technical Revision to the
Reclamation Plan.
