January 16, 2013
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
215 Centennial Building
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO 80203 -2273
Dear Sir or Madam:
as-k
Dirk Richards
P. O. Box 153
Nucla, CO 81424
970 - 729 -6942 (cell)
970 -864 -7293 (work)
Certified Mail Receipt #7012 1640 0001 0479 0190
RECEIV D
JAN 2 2 2013
Division of '-'ocla- lion,
Minin Sa:
Please accept this letter as a formal objection to the Phase II and III bond release for the
New Horizon Mine near Nucla, Colorado.
The reason for this objection is the fact that my property has been omitted, not included,
ignored or otherwise overlooked. My property lies northeast of the BB Road/2700 Road
intersection and east of the Benson property. Further disturbing to me is the fact that my
property was mined prior to the Benson property, as well as, the Burbridge property
which lies west of mine. I don't understand why the Benson property was farmed and
irrigated recently and mine was not.
I humbly request an informal conference with you in hopes that I can provide more
information and answer any questions you may have, and perhaps the reciprocal as well.
Thank you for your consideration.
Respectfully,
