There were some changes to the original plan regarding
how the noxious weeds were removed as originally outlined in the email I sent to you on August 24, 2012. The
Russian Olive Trees and Tamarisk growth were pulled from their roots, stacked and burned just west of the mine
office trailer. On Friday, December 28, 2012, Jim Grisenti (Grisenti Farm Owner) was given permission by his local
fire department to perform a controlled agricultural burn of the stacked weeds. The stacked weeds were burned
by Chris Usry (Transit Mix Aggregates Operations Manager) later that day.
Attached please find photos of Russian Olive Trees and Tamarisks at the Grisenti Pit that were pulled from their
roots, stacked and burned. I took pictures of the stacked weeds on December 21, 2012. While Chris was
managing the burn he sent me a photo of a stack burning (also attached). Our deadline for this action was
December 31, 2012.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Andre Laroche 1 Perm it Specialist
Transit Mix Concrete Co. 719 - 491 -0288 cell
5 attachments
