TR -97 provides
updated introductory text, engineering descriptions and SEDCAD modeling work
products that reflect the as -built condition of constructed permanent channels
evaluated during the SL -06 process for Phase I Bond release. The following
paragraph provides rationale for moving some components to another location
within the PAP.
Exh. 7 -14R was originally submitted in Vol. 2C and approved under TR -87.
Although Exh. 7 -14R is intended to deal only with ditch design; the ditches in the
Prospect Pond watershed were necessarily included in the sedimentation
modeling for the Prospect Pond. The primary focus of the text section is
nevertheless sediment pond performance at Prospect Pond during three distinct
pit development phases. As such, Exh. 7 -14R more appropriately belongs in Exh.
7 -PP. The text has therefore been relocated from Exh. 7 -14R in Vol. 2C to Exh. 7-
PP in Vol. 2E. Except for re- pagination, the text is unchanged from the approved
TR -87 text previously included as Exh. 7 -14R. Referenced figures in this section
have also been renamed and re- paginated as necessary. The SEDCAD modeling
for Prospect Pond approved under TR -87 has not been changed, except again for
necessary repagination of the SEDCAD output files. Finally, a new Exh. 7 -14R
dealing only with ditch design has been placed in Vol. 2C where this text
previously resided.
Also included with this revision are a revision application and a change of index
sheet to ease incorporation into the permit document.
