It also contains brief comments on the greater sage - grouse. However, because the greater sage - grouse is not Federally listed as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act at this time, we defer largely to Colorado Parks and Wildlife for its management and for conservation recommendations. We are aware that CPW and the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety have been in regular discussions on this project. We support all of CPWs recommended conservation measures for the greater sage - grouse. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. J.
