Re: Mined Land Reclamation Board (MLRB) Action Pertaining to the Climax
Mine (Permit No. 77-493) and Henderson Mine (Permit No. 77-342)
Dear Mr. Brown:
This is written confirmation of the MLRB action of March 27, 1985 pertaining
to these two permits.
The MLRB approved the revised reclamation costs for 1985-86 of $25.281 million
for the Climax site. Also, the MLRB approved the 1985-86 reclamation costs of
$4.119 million for the Henderson Mine.
Pursuant to C.R.S. 34-32-117(4)(c), please submit the new financial warranties
within 60 days. If new forms are needed, please contact this office.
On behalf of the MLRB, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you and
other members of Climax for providing an overview of both of these sites. We
believe this up-date was very informative and helpful for the MLRB.
