During this quarter, three NPDES outfalls were active. Outfalls 002 discharged routinely
throughout the quarter. Outfall 001 and 020 discharged in early July intermittently in response to precipitation
events. Outfalls 005, 008, 009, 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 017, 018, 019, 021, 022, 023 and 024 did not
discharge during the quarter. Values reported on the enclosed DMRs represent the maximum (or minimum as
applicable) monthly /daily values generated at each outfall during the quarter.
No exceedances of primary effluent limitations occurred during this quarter.
Also enclosed are monthly NOAA weather summaries for the reporting period and WET test report forms as
applicable. One outfall was sampled for WET analyses during the quarter. Two species acute tests were completed
at outfall 020. No exceedances of WET test limitations were observed at the tested outfalls.
Trapper is required to maintain sediment levels in ponds at or below 60% of the pond volume. Outfalls 001,
structures #7R, #8, #10; 002, structure #5; and 017, structure #1 has exceeded 60% sediment levels. These
structures will be cleaned by the end of the calendar year. All structures operated properly and were not
compromised in any way. All other operations were properly conducted concerning the sediment control structures
at Trapper Mine.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the enclosed information, 970 - 826 -6143
Sincerely,
Graham Roberts
EHS Specialist
