Due to the <br /> potential for a snowstorm to occur and obscure the project area for the season in the near future, <br /> this request for inspection is being made concurrently with project completion in order to provide <br /> a level of assurance that site inspection will occur before the area is covered by snow. Saturday, <br /> September 20,1997 is the projected date for project completion. <br /> Sunnyside Gold Corporation (SGC) has or will have completed by the date of inspection the Gold <br /> Prince Mill Tailings Mine Remedial Project (MRP) according to the amended work plan. <br /> Following is a summary of the completed work for this MRP and where applicable, the work to <br /> be completed is noted <br /> The Gold Prince adit was opened and inspected for potential bulkhead sites. Because of the lack <br /> of ground cover at the adit portal, plans were modified to place a deeper bulkhead to force mine <br /> drainage water back into the Sunnyside Mine pool and a near surface bulkhead to keep the near <br /> surface fracture flow water flowing within the fractures instead of free draining from the adit <br /> opening. These bulkhead designs were submitted to WQCD and DMG prior to construction. <br /> The interior bulkhead was constructed according to the submitted design in September and <br /> October of 1996. DMG performed a pre-pour inspection for this bulkhead. The adit bulkhead was <br /> constructed according to the submitted design in August, 1997. After completion of the <br /> bulkheads, portal timber sets were re-installed to provide the visual appearance of an adit but <br />
