According to the application materials, the amendment will provide additional mining in the Main Cresson <br />Mine, the Wildhorse Extension of the East Cresson Mine, and the North Cresson Mine to include the extension of <br />the Schist Island Mine area and the Globe Hill Mine area. The amendment includes new high grade mill facilities <br />and a new valley leach facility to be constructed in Squaw Gulch (SGVLF), which will include an adsorption, <br />desorption, and recovery facility. The Water Supply Upgrade, as discussed in Section 9.3 of the application, <br />includes water delivered from the City of Victor's Altman Pump Station in addition to back -up supplies from the <br />City of Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs Utilities. <br />This office has no objections to the above - referenced proposal, so long as it is included in any Substitute <br />Water Supply Plan approved by the State Engineer or any application approved by the Water Court.
