of Financial Warranty, Certificate of Deposit No. 874 - 854433
Your bank holds a Certificate of Deposit for Pat and Bonnie Weber d.b.a. Hardrock Sand and
Gravel as a Financial Warranty for the Moon Pit No. 2, Permit No. M- 1977 -443. On November
23, 2011 the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (Board) found that the financial warranty
held for the above referenced site is subject to forfeiture. Pursuant to Rule 4.20(2) of the
Mineral Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for the
Extraction of Construction Materials (Rules), the Board is required to notify all Financial
Warrantors when a Financial Warranty is subject to forfeiture. The pertinent information for the
Certificate of Deposit is:

A formal hearing for consideration of revocation of the permit and forfeiture of the financial
warranty will be held during the January 11 -12, 2012 Board meeting at 1313 Sherman Street,
Room 318, Denver, Colorado, beginning at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be
considered. You are welcome to attend the hearing, where you will have the opportunity to be
represented and heard.
