The location of the wells are shown on Map 11, Sheet 3 New <br />Elk Mine Site Plan, East Portal Facilities. <br />Refuse fines will be recovered from the bottom of the thickener and pumped in a six inch poly - <br />pipe to one of the slurry return wells. The slurry will flow down through the return wells into the <br />abandoned workings and disperse. Return water will be recovered by a pump located north of <br />the preparation plant and piped to the plant for reuse. <br />Disturbed and Affected Area <br />No change. The wells will be drilled within the existing disturbed and affected area. <br />Reclamation Estimate <br />A reclamation estimate is enclosed. <br />Sincerely, <br />J. E.
