Box 635, 3737 highway 133, Somerset, Colorado 81434, has filed a oompWo application to the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and safety 1CDRMS) for two Technical Revisions (TR -71 and 72) to its existing approved Permit No. C- 1981.022. The TR's provide forthe modification of the currently approved plan forthe installation of temporary light use roads and drill- ing of mine ventilation boreholes on three 131 Iongwall panel areas. The modification was made neces- sary by changes in the approved mine plan in response to the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHAI concerns. TR -71 addresses changes proposed on private lands and TR -72 addresses changes pro- posed on lands managed by the U.S. Forest Service. OMLLC's approved parmit area is located in Gunnison and Delta Counties and north of the town of Somerset and the North Fork of the Gunnison River. OMLLC's cur- rent permit area would be lncluded on the areas presented by the Somerset and Bowie USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps and is generally described as follows: T2Waktip 2 R west. 6th PM All or parts of Sections 29-32 Township 12 South Rangg2L West. 6th PM All or parts of Sections 25-27 and 34.36 Township 13 South.
