.Notice of Receipt of NOI Application
Dear Mr. Katz:
On June 29, 2011, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received Notice of Intent
(N01) to Conduct Prospecting Operations for Hard Rock /Metal Mines applications from Climax
Molybdenum, File No. P- 2011 -014. The Division posted the non - confidential (Form 2) application on
the Office website on July 1, 2011.
In accordance with Rule 5.1.3, any public comment or requested for disclosure of information
designated as confidential regarding the NOI must be received by the Office no later than ten (10)
working days after the notice was posted on the Office website (July 18, 2011).
Per Rule 5.1.3(a), the Division has twenty (20) working days to determine if any deficiencies exist
within the application. A financial warranty was not submitted with the NOI. The Division will
calculate a bond amount for the NOI during the review period and notify the Applicant of the amount.
