The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado
Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on June 8, 2011, a minor revision application (MR -109) to the
Colowyo Coal Mine, Permit No. C- 1981 -019, operated by Colowyo Coal Company L.P., 5731 State
Highway 13, Meeker, CO 81641 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. Colowyo Coal
Company proposes to relocate a GPS repeater to allow for better data transmission. Colowyo Coal
Company also has updated the topsoil handling map to include two small topsoil stockpiles at the
Gossard loadout area. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations
promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing.
