J. Dudash
Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
---- Re: Bowie Resources, L-LC, Bowie--No. 2--Min-e---- -
MR-123, Six Gob Vent Holes
Permit C-1996-083
Dear Mr. Dudash:
CIVIL ENGINEERING
CONST. MANAGEMENT

The DRMS' letter dated May 9, 2011 transmitted its adequacy review letter for the
referenced minor revision. On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), following are its
responses to the DRMS' comments and concerns:
1. Disturbed Area
Page 2.05-35 of the permit application package states that generally upgraded
and refurbished light use roads cause about 6 and 12-feet of new disturbance
per lineal feet of road respectively. Most of the roads associated with this minor
revision are refurbished and therefore the disturbed area was calculated on a 12
foot width instead of a 24 foot width.
2. Reclamation Bond
The DRMS' $98,074 reclamation estimate is acceptable to BRL.
Sincerely,
J. E. Stover, P. E.
Consulting Engineer
Cc: Bill Bear
