Lonwall panel E1 was mined-out by 3Id quarter 2010. MCC had longwall mined up to
cross-cut 19 in panel E2 by the end of 1St quarter 2011. The area potentially affected by
mining was inaccessible for the quarterly site inspection because of snow cover and
consequently, the ground surface was not visible. Mining was not within a mile of Monument
Dam. Mining was within the angle of draw of the Dry Fork US Forest Service Road, Lower
Cow Camp, Lower Cow Camp Spring, and the Dry Fork of Minnesota Creek. These land
features and man-made structures were inspected in the 2nd quarter when road and weather
conditions permitted, and these inspections will be included in the Spring 2011 Semi-annual
Subsidence Report. Routine inspection reports for Monument Dam, Forest Service roads, and
stock ponds are included with this letter.
Sincerely,
V2'-S-4VW'/
Ryan V.
