The application was submitted by New Elk Coal <br />Company, LLC on September 7, 2010, for the New Elk Mine. This revision approves a coal loadout to be located <br />along the existing rail spur in Jansen in portions of SETA Section 22 and part of the NWIA SW1/3 of Section 23, <br />T33S R64W of the 6th P.M. in Las Animas County. The area is shown on the USGS 7.5 minute quad map of <br />Trinidad West. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice by <br />the Division in the The Chronicle - News. <br />Copies of the revision application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Las Animas County Clerk and Recorder.
