He indicated he had submitted
photos to you showing the evidence of spraying the canada thistle. Mr. J.R. Phillips, the
Fremont/Custer Weed Coordinator (and an active member of the Custer County Weed Board)
made a site inspection on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. He has completed a report for the gravel
pit with recommendations for the landowner, etc. When I receive a copy of that report, I will
send it to you.
As I mentioned on the telephone yesterday, our weed management plan encompasses all property
owners in the county. It is not necessary to apply to the county to be included in the management
plan.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to give me a call.
Sincerely,
Beverly Goertz
Office Manager
(2) enclosures
Colorado State University, U.S. Department of Agriculture and Colorado counties cooperating.
Extension programs are available to all without discrimination.
