Is <br />all of the affected area within the permit boundary to be revegetated? <br />Rules 6.3(b) & Reclamation map Exhibit F does not show path of drainage beyond the <br />6.3.5(3)(c) immediate area. It does not show the location of any sedimentation pond. It <br />does not, of course, show drainage during the 50 years of mining. <br />Rules 3.1.2 & Reclamation map Exhibit F does not include the plant site. <br />6.3.4(1) <br />Rule 6.3 The reclamation map Exhibit 1~ shows contours after final grading some 50 <br />years hence. Although the legend gives a symbol for pre-mine contours, the <br />symbol is the same as post-mine contours and no pre-mine contours are <br />indicated in the affected areas. <br />Rule 6.3 The outline of the 50 year development contours are clear enough but there are <br />no details of slopes and contours around pits at the end of one, two or five year <br />developments to graphically show these transitions from 30 foot holes to <br />revegeaated areas. Also to be shovm are drainage ditches and silt fences. <br />These conditions must be shown with large scale plans and sections <br />Rule 6.3.4 There is no statement about the amount of water to be used in revegetation or <br />the source of such water or how long it will be applied. <br />Rules 6.3.3 & There is no consideration of dealing with the toxic remains of the blasting <br />3.1.7(6)B 1 agent. I Iow will it be handled? <br />The permit application states that seismic monitoring "will be conducted" <br />during blasting. Who will conduct the monitoring? To whom will the <br />information be conveyed? <br />There is no statement about protecting the stockpiled topsoil from erosion.
