This
should be based on the method of hydraulic placement, geotechnical and the proposed impoundment location
information which we have thus far submitted. This is in response to a tentative DRMS rejection of our proposed
impoundment outslope angle of 1.5H:1 V.
Having this acceptable outslope angle information will allow us to make the necessary business decisions on
whether or not to proceed to completion with this permit application. Changing this angle will impact the volume of
tailings which can be impounded in this proposed location. Venture Resources wishes to thank the DRMS for
looking into this. We are faced with a logistically challenging location and would like to find an engineered
solution that will allow us to maintain the viability of this project and meet the stability standards prescribed by the
DRMS.
Inorder to absorb the requested information and to facilitate an accurate response to the "Second Adequacy
Review", Venture Resources would like to request a Decision Date extension concerning our application M-2009-
076. We wish to request a October 22, 2010 date for re-consideration of this permit issuance. Also, we understand
that November 24 will be one year since this application was accepted as filed by the DRMS.
Sincerely,
Venture Resources, Inc.
Ryan J.
