Brown
Senior Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Co 80203
Subject: Western Fuels-Colorado, LLC - Permit Revision 6
Dear Ms. Brown
AUG 2
,yon,
piv+?ion 0 3 f 2010
K?Saw
wining
1 am a Project Manager for Links Freight Management and relocated to Nucla, Co
to work with Western Fuel-Colorado, LLC in March of 2007. My job with Links
Freight Management and the lively hood of my family is dependant upon Western
Fuels ability to continue mining and reclaiming.
Western Fuels has done an outstanding job with reclaiming the land for the past
17 years. This fact is evident as you drive by previous areas mined and they are
more green and lush than neighboring properties. It is my true belief that Western
Fuels goes above and beyond to insure they return the land to as good or better
condition. The Morgan prime farmland and other properties are protected.
Western Fuels is a very important part of our community. They provide many
need jobs as well as supporting local schools, merchants and the Nucla-Naturita
Area Chamber of Commerce.
I urge the approval of PR06 so that Western Fuels can continue mining and
reclamation.
Sincerely
uu.?/?-mob
Michael L.
