Technical Revision (TR) to M-1999-069, Proposed City of Loveland Boyd Lake Avenue Extension, Proposed "Remnant Triangle" Reclamation Eric: Thanks for your time once again in further consultations last month. Following those discussions, Jake Kauffman & Son, Inc. have considered their reclamation options for the "remnant triangle" area located northwest of the proposed Boyd Lake Avenue extension roadway embankment. This area is about ten (10) acres in size, and will be cut off from the proposed East Reservoir by the roadway. Our initial submittal on this TR, made last month, indicated that this area would be balled to a level at least two feet above local groundwater levels, using select soils to ensure infiltration of surface waters. However, based on consideration of the requirements associated with the reclamation options for the area, the Operator will now commit to reclaiming this remnant triangle as an unlined groundwater reservoir. The Operator recognizes the implications of this reclamation with the Colorado Office of the State Engineer (SEO), and will address those, as required. The Exhibit F Reclamation Plan map has been updated to reflect his new reclamation commitment for the remnant triangle area, and a copy has been attached for your reference and files.
