In response to our phone conversation on the morning of June 18, 2010, please find detailed below
Powertech's responses to the request for additional information by the Colorado Division of
Reclamation Mining and Safety (DRMS) in order to complete its review of the Notice of Intent to
Conduct Prospecting (NOI File Number P-2010-011).
Soil Sample Analysis Methodology for Centennial Uranium Project Site Characterization:
Uranium: EPA Method 6010/6020
Radium 226: EPA Method E 903.0
Thorium 230: EPA Method E 907.0
Lead 210: EPA Method E 909.0 M
The methods shown above are the most recent methods in use by the analytical laboratory.
The sample digestion technique used by the lab that Powertech utilizes for soil sample analysis consists
of the SW 3050 method. This digestion method is a 2-step leaching process in which the 15` step consists
of a nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide leach, followed by the 2"d step of a hydrochloric acid leach.
