It sounds from your letter that the necessary adequacy materials have been obtained but additional time is
needed to prepare and submit them. This office has therefore approved the requested extension, and the decision date
has been reset to June 30, 2010.
Please be reminded that all outstanding adequacy issues must be addressed before the Division can approve the
amendment. If the amendment is not adequate for approval by the close of business on the decision date, the
amendment may be denied. If additional time is required to prepare and submit adequacy responses, please provide a
written request for extension to this office.
Adequacy response materials should be submitted in duplicate. You may direct all submittals and questions to me at
the Division's Durango field office: 691 CR 233, Room A-2, Durango, CO 81301; telephone 247-5193, fax 247-5104.
Sincerely,
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
Ec: Steve Shuey, DRMS
(c:\10-04 does\cugnini amt ext04/rco)

JUN 0 7 2010
Divisisr, of rRmclw ion,
Wnirag and Safety
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
