Pirieda <br />Director <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has completed a Midterm Review of Division Permit <br />No. C-81-010 and materials associated therewith for the Trapper Mine in compliance with Section 34-33-115 of the <br />Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act and Section 2.08.3 of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. A copy of this Midterm Review document is enclosed, as is a copy of the <br />Division's updated reclamation cost estimate for the Trapper Mine. <br />A few items in the Permit Application Package appear to require explanation, modification or correction. The <br />Division's update of our reclamation cost estimate additionally suggests an increase in. the reclamation bond posted <br />for the Trapper Mine may be warranted.
