Box 187
Craig, CO 81626
RE: Trapper Mining, Inc., 2009 Annual Reclamation Report, TR-107, Adequacy Review
Dear Mr. Roberts,
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) have reviewed Trapper Mining
Inc.'s 2009 Annual Reclamation Report, TR-107. Trapper Mining Inc. submitted the report in
accordance with Rule 2.04.13. Upon review of the above referenced report the Division has the
following comment:
1. The cover sheet for the 2009 Annual reclamation report lists the Acres Disturbed for the 2009
reporting year as 153.7 for a Cumulative Total of 3,442.3. However, in Section 1.2.1 and Table
1.1 the disturbed acres for 2009 were 155.4 which would be a Cumulative Total of 3,444.
Please address this discrepancy in acres disturbed in 2009. If the totals are conflicting, please
provide replacement pages that reflect the correct total of disturbed acres for 2009.
2. According to the Acres Backfilled and Graded and the Acres Topsoiled, Last Year's
Cumulative Total (2008) is represented as 1,070.9 acres. This number is different than the final
Cumulative Total of 1,072.6 acres represented on the 2008 Annual Reclamation Report.
Please address this discrepancy in the acres reclaimed in 2009. If the totals are conflicting,
please provide replacement pages that reflect the correct total of backfilled, graded and
topsoiled acres for 2009.
Please submit the requested information by the regulatory timeframe.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
