Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
In the 2010 Midterm Permit Review findings document, the Division stated that there were no specific
midterm adequacy review questions. However, there is one issue that was not presented in the Permit
Renewal No. 5 review due to time constraints that can be dealt with now in this midterm review. The
following is the one issue:
It does not appear that the agreed upon revegetation success standards that appear on page 22 of
the Permit Renewal No. 5 findings document were ever formally placed into the permit application
package (PAP). Please either state where the standards appear in the PAP or submit a minor
revision to place these standards into the appropriate section of the PAP.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Yp ash
,/Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Jim Stover (J.E.
