Cattany Division Director Natural Resource Trustee The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 118, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on January 20, 2008, an application to renew an existing permit to conduct coal mining operations at the Terror Creek Loadout was considered complete for the purposes of filing. All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of filing. Terror Creek Company proposes to continue Other coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located approximately 4 miles Northeast of Paonia, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: Portions of Section 15, Township 13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Bowie. In Permit Renewal No. 5, The Terror Creek Company is proposing to continue coal loading operations at the Terror Creek Loadout for another five year term. A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Paonia Public Library, 140 Grand Avenue, Paonia, CO 81428, the Delta County Planning Office, 501 Palmer Street, Delta, CO 81416, and at the Division office.
