Since this <br />property is adjacent to State Highway 9, CDOT is an interested party in your mining plan <br />amendment. As such, I request the following items for clarification of your plans: <br />• A scaled map, showing existing operations, SH 9, and proposed operations; <br />• Discussion of dust suppression protocols (particularly to prevent tracking of fines <br />onto SH 9); <br />Discussion of how groundwater and stormwater are managed and treated. <br />Changes in environmental regulations, as well as ongoing issues with other quarries, are <br />prompting CDOT to consider the above items more carefully than in the past. <br />Please send these materials to me.
