Irrthis technical revision you will find the following items addressed: • Final lake configurations • Roadway locations to remain • Additional structures to remain including oil and gas wells • Weed Control Plan Lafarge is first requesting that the final lake configurations be adjusted to match the existing locations. After full mining was completed it was found that the lakes did not full match the original reclamation design. To correct this, Lafarge is requesting that the final layout of the lakes be accepted. The pit area will have five lakes with a small access road traversing the site. There is no change to the overall uses of the site, just the configuration. The site is still planned for lakes and open grasslands. The road will remain to provide access to the site for maintenance. Lafarge would also like to allow for a few structures to remain on the site. There is a barn and small shed located on the west side of the property that is utilized by the property owner that shall remain. Along with this barn, there is a dirt pad for a home that was constructed on the northwest side of the property. The land owner would like to locate their home in this spot and through an agreement with Lafarge was able to utilize on-site materials to build the home pad. The final structures to remain are a number of oil and gas wells that have been constructed on the site. The locations are shown on the attached map. In regards to the noxious weeds found on the site, Lafarge proposes a multi layered control plan to manage the site. Below you will find a chart with the various common weed types found on this site and the planned treatment methods. Lafarge reserves the right to select herbicides that will most effectively treat the specified weeds as needed. Lafarge to do monitoring of the site as a minimum of quarterly to ensure that weed control methods are effectively being applied and followed per this plan.
