Two ponds exist on
the permit area, Truck Loop Pond (001A) and Rail Loop Pond (002A). Both the Truck Loop pond
(Outfall 001A) and the Rail Loop pond (Outfall 002A) were inspected by HGTI on October 19, 2009.
Neither of the ponds was discharging at the time of the inspection, and the Rail Loop Pond was dry. The
report recognizes that there still exists a slow seep in the headgate of the Truck Loop Pond (outfall 001 A).
HGTI personnel measured this seep at 0.06 gpm. This seep is not considered a problem at this time and
does not appear to impact the function of the pond.
HGTI also provided a copy of the Annual certification of impoundments, received on January 11, 2010.
The engineer's inspection was conducted on October 19, 2009. No problems or concerns were noted by
the engineer for either pond. These reports are in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17) and Rule 4.05.9(14)
Sincerely,
Janet .
