Dudash OCT ) %009 <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety DI','Uarjation, <br />?d:ining and SaWY <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 t <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: Bowie Resources, LLC, Bowie No. 2 Mine <br />MR-113 Monitoring Flow at Bottom of Hubbard Creek Shaft <br />Permit C-1996-083 <br />Dear Mr. Dudash: <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), enclosed is an application for a minor <br />revision to remove the flow monitoring and reporting required for Hubbard Creek shaft <br />inflows. <br />The fifth paragraph on permit application page 2.05-67 requires that after the Hubbard <br />Creek shaft construction is complete, flow at the bottom of the shaft will be monitored <br />and results submitted to the DRMS on a monthly basis. The pre-grouting and <br />cemented shaft liner were effective in stopping water from entering the shaft. There is <br />no flow at the bottom of the shaft. <br />Page 2.05-67 was amended to remove the monitoring and reporting requirement and <br />indicate there is no flow at the bottom of the shaft. <br />Please call if you have any questions. <br />Sincerely, <br />J.
