The project is for the addition of 6 drill
holes. A site visit by BLM personnel notes that the three hundred feet of new roads proposed are new and will
require full reclamation. The DRMS review notes no issues that need to be addressed at this time other than the
reclamation bond.
Staff has calculated the bond based on the modification application. Please find the estimate attached.
Mobilization is not included as it is part of the initial Notice bond. Please review the estimate and contact staff if
there are any issues that need to be addressed. Otherwise please inform staff of Energy Fuel's acceptance of
the estimate. Staff has forwarded a copy of the reclamation estimate to Scott Gerwe of the BLM Grand Junction
Regional Office. BLM must also accept the reclamation estimate. If the agency has any issues with the estimate
adjustments maybe required which will require Energy Fuels acceptance as well.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Grand
Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, telephone no. 970.241.1117.
Sincerely, f
G.
