Oil Shale <br />Research, Development and Demonstration (R,D&D) Tract" Environmental Assessment, and is <br />therefore approved. <br />Prior to commencement of operations the following is required: <br />Updated text and maps of the Stormwater Management Plan to reflect current project <br />Updated water monitoring plan to include the following: <br />¦ Groundwater frequency monitoring schedule during and post operations <br />¦ Submission of reports schedule <br />¦ Numeric protection levels for water levels and water quality along with a <br />response plan when numeric protection levels are exceeded <br />¦ Updated maps to reflect current project <br />This action corresponds to the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (CDRMS) <br />Prospecting Permit P-2008-046. Bonding for these activities on the oil shale RD&D lease tracts is <br />calculated and held by CDRMS in coordination with the Bureau of Land Management. Prior to any <br />surface disturbing activity a bond in the amount of $432,980.00 as determined by CDRMS is required to <br />be filed with and payable to the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management. Please send a <br />copy of the bond to the BLM, Colorado State Office, 2850 Youngfield Street, Lakewood, Colorado, <br />80215, attention: Charlie Beecham.
