Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Conger Harvest Area, Permit M-1998-022, Conversion from 110c to 112c, CN-01, <br />Complete for Review. <br />Dear Mr. Balaz, <br />The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety received The Gallegos Corporation's application <br />for a conversion to a 112c permit to the above referenced permitted operation on September 2, <br />2009. A review by staff of the completeness of the application was conducted on September 3, <br />2009. Staff has determined that the application is complete and ready for review. Per Rule 1.4.8 <br />the Decision date is set 90 days from the completeness date which is December 3 2009. Please <br />be aware that if all issues are resolved prior to that date a decision may be rendered. If an <br />objection to the conversion is received which cannot be resolved the matter possibly would be <br />scheduled for the December 2009 Mined Land Reclamation Board hearing at the earliest. <br />Per Rule 1.6.2(d), the operator must start publication of the required public notice within 10 days <br />of this letter for four (4) times, once a week, for consecutive weeks in a local newspaper. The <br />end of the public comment period is 20 calendar days from the last date of publication of the <br />notice. Please inform staff of the commencement of the public notice process, the final date of <br />publication and the comment period end date. The required proof of publication must be sent in <br />once the publication period has ended.
