"1"
Re: Bull Canyon Project, Notice of Intent (NOI) P-2008-012, Full Release Request, SL-01, Decision
Date.
Dear Mr. Yancey,
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) accepted Uranium Energy Corporation's
(UEC), Notice of Intent on May 1 st, 2008. DRMS received DEC's request for a full release of the
Notice on July 16, 2009. The release request is based on the project not going forward and no
disturbance occurring at the site. A review of the request notes that the submittal meets the DRMS
requirements of Rule 4.16. Staff is unsure whether the release request was sent to the BLM Delores or .
Durango Office. If not please do so as soon as possible. DRN4S has thirty (30) days from the date of
this letter to inspect the site to confirm no disturbance occurred and issue a release decision. Therefore a
decision will be forthcoming no later than August 27, 2009. Staff is in the process of coordinating a
joint site inspection with BLM at this time.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501,
telephone no. 970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
G.
