Your letter requested the
corrective action required from the January 20th, 2009 inspection report be terminated due to
the fact that the area will not be mined for several years because of the present market
conditions. Since mining will not commence in the near future, the Division will terminate the
corrective action at this time. Please keep in mind that any changes to the current permitted
mining plan will need to be approved by the Division prior to the initiation of mining, including
any changes in ditch relocation plan. Failure to do so may result in a possible violation.
Sincerely,
pv??obok-
Jared Ebert
Environmental Protection Specialist, DRMS
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
