EQUIPMENT & TRUCK, INC.
USED TRUCK
AND TRAILER SALES gj? 2055 1st AVENUE (970) 353-6682
®® ®® GREELEY, CO 80631 1 (800) 423-7700
Providing Our Customers With Quality Used Trucks and Equipment since 1963
June 30, 2009
Michael Cunningham
CDMG
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Re: Inspection report for M2002-052
Dear Mr. Cunningham:
DECEIVED
JUL 01 2009
Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
During the week of June 8 through 12 I took the following actions.
1. Boundary postings; I posted 12 signs around East edge of boundary as shown in
attached photos and in approx locations as shown on map. The boundary between points
3 and 4 is the middle of stream.
2. Stockpile vegetation. I have included a map to show locations. The pile around east &
southeast perimeter is overburden and not good growing medium. We have sprayed
annually to control noxious weeds on this pile. It was sprayed again on June 12 after
mowing operations were completed. We used a product called Milestone to control
weeds but leave any grasses present. The other smaller piles a shown on the map are
temporary topsoil piles made during the winter. They are to be moved to a new topsoil
stockpile area as shown on the map. In preparation for the move they have been sprayed
to kill weeds so as not to put weed seed into the stockpile. After moving the pile will be
seeded. I have included photos of the sprayed piles. I have also included photos of the
first stockpile area which shows gentle slopes to allow mowing.
I believe that these steps should resolve any compliance issues mentioned on your
inspection report. You may contact me by phone or e mail for any questions or follow up
inspection.
Sincerely
Bob Condon
303-931-1591
bob@cottonwoodfarms.com
